Morphine Part II"They say you can see her ghost in the honey-roasted wheat fields, she looks like she is made of porcelain, milk white and rosy cheeked, but she has rust red blood spilling from her throat, and down to her bruised chest. Why has God himself carved something so beautiful, something so breath-taking, that my undeserving eyes should never have the grace of laying upon?

I am making myself today

I have been seeing such beautiful artwork lately. Honestly, what I wouldn't give to do some of this!

Soooo...I am out for Thanksgiving Break, and thank God for that cause I'm in desperate need for a break. I've been needing a night of wonderful, undisturbed sleep. I slept really well last night, but I had a weird dream about the government trying to create geniuses by breeding smart people together. Yeah, I have no idea where that came from.

I've been enjoying myself listening to classical music on youtube. It's beautiful. Stunning. You've just got to respect the old stuff. If it hadn't been created we wouldn't have the music we have now.

I've been posting a lot of haikus lately. I don't know why but I've been on fire with those. But I have some other stuff coming soon.

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well. I'm doing well. I want to say Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends, cause I probably won't be journalling for a while (I'll be busy with the cooking and such).

I am currently a 19-year-old southern belle who goes to college and has hopes of earning a degree in psychology. I am a writer, a profound reader, and a traditional artist (I do a lot of drawing). I also want to take up music sometime, but so far, it hasn’t happened. I love music passionately and would love to learn to play an instrument.

I’m kind of old school, so to speak. I’m horrendously bad at technology—including cell phones, ipods, and computers (I can get around on DA though), and prefer to do things the old-fashioned way most of the time. So I hope no one thinks I’m an idiot if I ask them a question they think the answer to is obvious.

Writing is what I do the most of. I write when I’m inspired, and I get these little bursts of inspiration that—if I’m not careful—can vanish and not come back to me for a while. Sometimes I’ll write pages upon pages of stuff in one day, and other times I’ll have writer’s block so bad that I won’t write for days. Even weeks. I’m appallingly forgetful; I’ll often write something good down somewhere, either on a single piece of paper or in a notebook, and then lose it. Needless to say, I get very angry when that happens.

So far, pretty much everything I’ve posted I’m at least fairly proud of…with the exception of maybe three things (which I might scrap).
I love getting feedback from people about my work. Positive feedback boosts my spirits and makes me feel more confident. Critiques help too because they let me know what I’m doing wrong and help me become a better writer, which I actually love.

I hope everyone enjoys my work!
